About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct research data collection sessions with child participants, including traveling to off-site locations such as preschools and homes
- Administer standardized speech and language tests to preschool-aged children
- Ensure secure recording, transfer, and storage of audio and video data
- Assist with data cleaning, scoring standardized tests, and writing visit summaries
- Enter data into research databases and assist with auditory-perceptual and acoustic speech analysis
- Support research project management, including the development of analysis protocols and preparation of presentations and publications
Requirements
- Master’s degree (MA/MS) in speech-language pathology
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a demanding research environment
- Must enjoy interacting with young children and be comfortable communicating with families
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience administering assessments with young children
- Experience with human subjects research
