Research Site Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities across research site(s), including staff management and operational planning
• Create and implement standardized clinic workflows to drive operational excellence
• Oversee study supply inventory and manage site-level purchasing and expenses
• Act as backup Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) as needed to manage workloads
• Own the full employee lifecycle for site staff, including hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews
• Ensure timely completion of tasks in EMR and CTMS by staff
• Maintain effective communication with CROs, sponsors, and Principal Investigators
• Protect the rights and welfare of all human research participants
• Monitor timelines and address performance issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a science discipline (biology, chemistry, etc.) or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a senior Clinical Research Coordinator
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in standard office software
• Ability to read and apply clinic policies and research protocols
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to travel across facility sites

Preferred Qualifications

• GI and hepatology clinical trial experience
• Prior experience in site management or team leadership within clinical research
• Familiarity with CTMS, EMR systems, and Salesforce
• Experience in a research site network or multi-site clinical trial environment
• Knowledge of GCP guidelines and human subject research regulations
