Research Scientist - World-Action Foundation Model, Robotics

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on pretraining world-action foundation models with vision, physics, and ego-action modalities for robot action and simulation world generation
• Explore topics including vision-physics modality association, feed-forward Gaussian splatting, spatial reasoning, deformable object modeling, and multi-modal pretraining
• Publish research at top-tier conferences in collaboration with other scientists and interns
• Partner with engineering teams to test and deploy algorithms into autonomy and simulation products

Requirements

• Strong research record in 3D vision, reconstruction, and generation for robotics and autonomous systems with top-tier publications
• MSc or PhD in machine learning, computer vision, or related field with autonomy and robotics applications
• Passion for scalable, real-world autonomy and robotics systems
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on research projects
• Technical experience in Python, PyTorch, computer vision, robotics systems, and distributed ML training

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with 3D foundation models and pretraining
• Hands-on experience with multi-modal foundation models
• Hands-on experience with feed-forward Gaussian splatting and reconstruction
• Hands-on experience with world foundation models and generation
• Hands-on experience with 3D/multi-view end-to-end models for autonomous driving or robotics
• Hands-on experience with human data processing and incorporation
