About the role
Responsibilities
- Research and develop robot foundation models (RFM)
- Analyze latest VLA, World Model, and RFM papers and technologies
- Research large-scale robot learning data collection and composition strategies across real, simulation, and web sources
- Improve RFM pre-training and post-training performance using SFT and RL
- Research data mixing strategies and generalization improvements
- Develop novel model architectures and training methodologies
- Integrate latest research into internal RFM and identify improvement directions
Requirements
- Master's or PhD candidate in a related field, or equivalent research experience
- Experience with RFM research projects such as VLA or World Models preferred
- Experience building large-scale datasets and establishing data strategies preferred
- Ability to quickly analyze and structurally summarize latest research papers preferred
