Research Scientist/Research Engineer | Deep Learning

Responsibilities

• Apply deep learning to achieve state-of-the-art capabilities in complex and challenging domains
• Implement open-ended research projects from initial concept through to production
• Continuously improve model design, tools, and infrastructure
• Target various areas of the quantitative research and monetization process
• Collaborate with quantitative trading teams to develop profitable predictive trading models

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in developing deep learning systems with measurable impact
• PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related subject
• Strong foundation in mathematics and statistics
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++
• Strong publication record at top-tier conferences such as ICML, ICLR, AAAI, NeurIPS, UAI, or KDD
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with engineering pragmatism and large-scale ML infrastructure
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-oriented environment
• Strong market intuition and interest in applying research to global financial markets
