Research Scientist Professional

Responsibilities

• Design and execute research and development activities to formulate new products and optimize existing formulations.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis using appropriate analytical tools and techniques.
• Interpret experimental results to support new product development and optimization initiatives for Phthalic Anhydride, Plasticizers, and Fumaric acid plants.
• Prepare clear and accurate technical reports, scientific documentation, and presentations to communicate findings.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and internal procedures, including Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and Process Safety Management (PSM).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including R&D, operations, quality, and commercial functions.
• Support continuous improvement of research methodologies, testing protocols, and laboratory practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in laboratory, production, or R&D environments within the chemical industry.
• Proficiency in English (intermediate to advanced) for reading technical documentation and preparing reports.
• Strong knowledge of instrumental analysis and quality assurance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience using SAP or Minitab.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical Processes, or Statistics.
• Specialized knowledge in Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, or Chemical Kinetics.
• Experience with pilot-scale activities and industrial scale-up.
