Research Scientist Internship (Agentic AI)

About the Company

Data Intelligence Lab researches and develops cutting-edge Deep Learning algorithms to perform advanced data analysis, prediction, and complex data optimization. The Agentic AI Tech Cell specifically focuses on researching code agents that solve complex decision-making problems in manufacturing and logistics by translating natural language specifications and operational data into executable, verifiable code.

Responsibilities

• Research on Industrial Code Agents & RL Environments
• Develop code agents for industrial decision automation, generating environments, policies, and verification code from problem specifications
• Research RL environment and simulator generation for manufacturing and logistics decision-making
• Conduct research on verifiable reward and agentic post-training (RLVR/RLHF) using signals like executability and constraint satisfaction
• Improve code agent cross-task performance using execution logs, failure cases, and user-corrected code

Requirements

• Master's or PhD student/holder in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related fields
• Research or project experience in at least one of: LLM, RL, agents, or code generation
• Experience publishing papers in major ML/NLP/RL conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP)

Preferred Qualifications

• Research experience in LLM/RL/Code Agents: RLVR, GRPO, RLHF, SFT, program synthesis, or tool-use agents
• Experience with agent environments and verification infrastructure: Gymnasium/PettingZoo, simulator benchmarks, or sandboxed execution
• Domain experience in manufacturing, logistics, or SCM: demand forecasting, inventory management, or production planning
• Experience with large-scale LLM experimentation: verl, TRL, OpenRLHF, vLLM, SGLang, Docker, or Kubernetes
