Research Scientist Intern - Theory

Responsibilities

• Conduct applied research to explore and improve deep learning model performance
• Define theoretical problems to analyze ML/DL model generalization capability and optimization
• Identify and implement state-of-the-art deep learning research papers

Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in deep learning or a related field
• Experience publishing in top-tier AI/ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, COLT, etc.) or journals
• Ability to lead research and quickly understand/implement mathematical theories and papers
• Ability to adapt quickly to new domains
• Strong communication skills
• No disqualifications for overseas travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or JAX
• Theoretical research experience in deep learning (publishing/submitting papers)
• Experience with RL, Optimization, or Generalization theory
