Research Scientist

Responsibilities

• Independently design, execute, and analyze moderately complex experiments to translate research ideas into diagnostic assay products.
• Serve as a technical lead and subject matter expert within assigned product or technology areas.
• Perform quantitative data analysis and interpret results to guide next-phase studies.
• Mentor less experienced scientists and associates.
• Prepare and review technical reports and present findings to project teams and leadership.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with business and scientific goals.
• Contribute to protocol development, process improvement, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• PhD in a related field; OR Master’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and executing complex experiments.
• Strong quantitative data analysis skills.
• Proven ability to interpret scientific results to guide future research phases.
• Ability to work onsite in Madison, WI.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree.
• 3+ years of industry experience.
