Research Scientist

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and analyze moderately complex experiments to translate research concepts into diagnostic assay products
• Serve as a technical lead and subject matter expert within assigned product or technology areas
• Perform quantitative data analysis, interpret results, and develop solutions for technical challenges
• Prepare and review technical reports and present findings to project teams and leadership
• Mentor less experienced scientists and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align with scientific goals
• Contribute to protocol development, process improvement, and regulatory compliance

Requirements

• PhD in a related field, OR a Master's degree with 4 years of relevant experience, OR a Bachelor's degree with 6 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience in experimental design and executing complex studies
• Proficiency in quantitative data analysis and interpreting scientific results
• Strong technical report writing and communication skills
• Ability to work onsite in San Diego, CA
