Research Scientist - Efficient AI

Responsibilities

• Design and advance state-of-the-art generative AI models across multimodal domains
• Improve AI efficiency through kernel and graph optimization, model compilation, and systems optimization
• Implement model compression techniques including quantization and distillation
• Design efficient model architectures and scalable inference systems
• Collaborate cross-functionally with research, engineering, and product teams to bring innovations into production
• Contribute to the broader AI community through publications at top-tier conferences

Requirements

• Strong expertise in foundation models, particularly generative AI (diffusion models, LLMs, VLMs)
• Experience in AI efficiency, low-level optimization, and model compression
• Proven academic or industry track record with publications in conferences like NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, or CVPR
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, Transformers, Diffusers, Megatron, and DeepSpeed
• Experience with cloud platforms and efficient architecture design
