Research Scientist

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a next-generation Model-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform to serve hundreds of LLM-based applications.
• Build an AI data flywheel system that unifies logs, cases, and feedback into structured, optimizable objects for real-world scenarios.
• Research and implement solutions for LLM post-training, alignment, and agent optimization to enhance system efficiency.
• Manage large-scale GPU resources and optimize computing power for offline training, fine-tuning, and online inference.
• Explore model capability boundaries through the integration of prompt engineering, memory, tools, and intelligent agent systems.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Research experience in LLM post-training and alignment, model evaluation, test-time scaling, agent systems, or large-scale data curation.
• Demonstrated research ability through academic publications, substantial research projects, or industry internships.
• Ability to work independently on open-ended research problems, from initial formulation to experimental execution.
• Must be able to commit to an onboarding date by the end of 2027.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong interest in data-centric AI, including data flywheels, continual learning, and the co-design of algorithms and infrastructure.
• A strong publication record with multiple first-author papers in machine learning, NLP, or data mining.
• Experience with scalable ML systems involving real-world deployment, feedback loops, or human-in-the-loop pipelines.
• Motivation to connect fundamental research with practical, end-to-end AI system implementation.
