The organization operates one of the largest AI compute clusters dedicated to biology, integrating biological foundation models with advanced lab capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Build and advance AI systems at the frontier of biology to accelerate scientific discovery
• Design novel model architectures and scale pre-training pipelines for biology foundation models
• Build post-training systems including RL, reward modeling, reasoning, and multi-agent orchestration
• Design evaluation frameworks in collaboration with scientists to ensure real-world biological impact
• Engage the scientific community through publications, open-source releases, and global collaborations

Requirements

• PhD in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Significant experience building and scaling deep learning systems
• Strong engineering and scientific fundamentals
• Ability to work with ambiguity and rapid iteration
• Strong communication skills for technical and scientific audiences
