Research Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage complex, grant-funded research and applied research projects for the Institute of Employee Ownership and Profit Sharing.
• Lead external engagement with employers, practitioners, and partner organizations.
• Develop research plans, data collection processes, and data analysis efforts to ensure timely deliverables.
• Conduct qualitative research, including conducting interviews and administering surveys.
• Synthesize data from various qualitative and quantitative sources to generate findings.
• Draft written reports, technical reports, research and policy briefs, and external communications.
• Oversee the work of research assistants and manage project timelines and resource reallocation.
• Communicate research methods and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three (3) years of relevant experience performing qualitative research.
• Proven experience in project management and administration.
• Strong qualitative data collection skills, including interviews and/or site visits.
• Exceptional organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a social science or social discipline.
• 5-7 years of professional work experience.
• Graduate coursework or significant experience in mixed-method or qualitative research.
