Research Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Maternal and Child Health Research Lab
• Organize and facilitate weekly lab meetings, including agenda development and documentation of action items
• Track progress on research projects to ensure milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met
• Coordinate manuscript development, including drafting support, content integration, editing, and formatting
• Manage journal submission processes and maintain a pipeline of manuscripts
• Support the preparation and submission of grant proposals to internal and external funding sources
• Assist with drafting proposal sections such as background, methods, and project management plans
• Support communication and coordination among faculty, trainees, and collaborators

Requirements

• Master’s degree in public health, epidemiology, health services research, or a related field
• Experience in academic research coordination or project management
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Experience with scientific writing, manuscript preparation, or grant development
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively in interdisciplinary environments
