Research Program Manager, Distributed Research

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the program roadmap for decentralized data collection initiatives, aligning priorities and team capacity.
• Lead intake and scoping processes for new requests by defining requirements and assessing feasibility.
• Ensure data collection planning incorporates regulatory and compliance timelines, including IRB review milestones.
• Build and maintain scalable intake workflows, SOPs, and tracking systems to support repeatable research execution.
• Manage internal tooling that supports decentralized data collection operations in partnership with technical teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Research, Product, Engineering, and Operations to align priorities and surface dependencies.
• Use program metrics and operational insights to optimize processes and increase the efficiency of distributed research efforts.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a Program Management or Project Management role, preferably in a research, technical, or data-focused environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing intake, prioritization, and roadmap planning across multiple stakeholders.
• Proven ability to translate ambiguous requests into clearly defined scope and actionable execution plans.
• Experience building and scaling operational processes and workflows in fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
