Research Professor

Responsibilities

• Lead interdisciplinary research activities to prevent and treat obesity and metabolic diseases
• Secure external research funding from national and international sources
• Publish high-impact research articles as a Principal Investigator in Q1/Q2 journals
• Serve as an advisor within the institution's graduate programs
• Dedicate 25% of time to teaching within an academic school at Tecnológico de Monterrey
• Participate in national and international research networks and events

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Nanotechnology, Experimental Medicine, Food Sciences, or a related field
• Substantial publication record in Q1/Q2 journals within the last five years
• Minimum Scopus h-index of 12
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level or TOEFL 600)
• CONAHCyT SNI membership in Mexico or equivalent international credentials
• Proven experience in securing research funding
