Research Professor

Responsibilities

• Lead scientific investigations into the prevention and treatment of obesity and metabolic diseases.
• Secure external funding to support research initiatives.
• Publish high-impact research articles as a Principal Investigator in Q1/Q2 journals.
• Serve as an advisor within the institution's graduate programs.
• Dedicate 25% of time to teaching within an academic school at Tec de Monterrey.
• Participate in national and international research networks and events.

Requirements

• PhD in Cellular Biology, Biochemistry, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Proven research experience in Endocrinology, Nutrition, Metabolism, Biological Systems, Computational Biology, or Functional Genomics.
• Substantial publication record in high-impact (Q1/Q2) journals within the last five years.
• A Scopus h-index of at least 15.
• Advanced English proficiency (minimum B2 CEFR/550 TOEFL; C1/600 preferred).
• CONACyT researcher membership in Mexico or equivalent international credentials.
• Strong leadership, communication, and networking skills.
