Research Product Manager

About the Company

Abundant is designing and operating simulation infrastructure where next-generation models learn to reason and solve complex problems. Our team is composed of high-impact former founders, ML engineers, roboticists, and data leads from companies like Waymo and Google.

Responsibilities

• Co-design capabilities of the model and define areas of improvement alongside Researchers
• Perform literature reviews and headroom analysis to identify recent academic and industry work
• Run experiments and benchmarks using internal simulation stacks and open source tooling
• Act as the voice of the model user by gathering insights from enterprises to improve evaluations and training data
• Work on internal data pipelines and tooling to support research operations

Requirements

• Deep understanding of evaluations, RL, and how LLMs and Agents work
• Ability to read research papers and keep up with SOTA literature
• Extreme agency and a founder mentality
• Creative problem-solving skills for designing projects from the ground up
• High proficiency with coding agents such as Codex or Claude Code
