Research Nurse

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient health assessments and medication administration
• Obtain IV access through peripheral IV initiation
• Prepare and administer specialized intravenous or injectable pharmacological treatments
• Monitor study participants for infusion-related reactions and report adverse events
• Maintain knowledge of study protocols and inclusion/exclusion criteria
• Document study participant conditions and transfusion reports accurately
• Contact potential study participants regarding enrolling studies

Requirements

• Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon
• Previous experience providing multiple daily infusions
• Graduate of an accredited nursing education program
• Exceptional peripheral IV initiation and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent
