Research Nurse

Responsibilities

• Contact patients (adults and children) and organize visits across 10 hospitals in Barcelona
• Obtain clinical information through phone calls and in-person visits
• Administer neuropsychological scales and tests to patients
• Assist patients with completing patient-reported outcomes
• Enter and manage clinical data within the REDCap database
• Label, process, and freeze blood samples, and organize shipments to the IGTP GRENBA lab
• Attend regular meetings with the DM1-Hub curators and multidisciplinary team members
• Report results, challenges, and achievements to the managing team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Proven skills in blood extraction
• Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in a hospital setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Fluency in both Spanish and Catalan (English is valued)
• Strong communication and patient coordination skills
• Ability to travel to various hospitals in Barcelona and perform home visits
• Interest in clinical research and a willingness to learn new technical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Science or a related field
