About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced laboratory experiments including mammalian cell culture, molecular and cellular biology techniques, and biochemical assays.
  • Conduct animal studies involving handling, breeding, genotyping, dosing, monitoring, and tissue collection in accordance with approved protocols.
  • Manage and maintain laboratory animal colonies, including record keeping, health monitoring, and coordination with animal care staff.
  • Execute experimental analyses such as flow cytometry, histology, immunostaining, and microscopy imaging.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze experimental data, maintaining accurate electronic notebooks and research databases.
  • Oversee laboratory operations including reagent preparation, inventory management, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance.
  • Participate in laboratory meetings, protocol documentation, and the training of new laboratory personnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences, engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of full-time wet laboratory research experience.
  • Proficiency in mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques.
  • Experience with animal handling, breeding, and colony management.
  • Technical skills in flow cytometry, microscopy, and histological techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
