Research Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory analyses on lubricants and raw materials to ensure reliable, accurate, and consistent test results
• Critically interpret results, investigate deviations, and actively suggest improvements for analytical methods and processes
• Manage and maintain laboratory equipment, including performing regular calibrations and monitoring measurement reliability
• Support the development and implementation of new analytical techniques and stay updated on technological evolutions
• Adhere to the highest quality and safety standards to maintain a safe and efficient laboratory environment
• Collaborate with scientists, sales colleagues, and customers to understand technical challenges and develop solutions

Requirements

• Professional Bachelor or Master's degree in Chemistry
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a chemical, commercial, or R&D laboratory
• Proven experience with laboratory equipment, analytical techniques, and quality control procedures
• Strong analytical insight combined with a hands-on mentality and proactive approach
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in both Dutch and English
