Research Lab Specialist Senior

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of a specialized laboratory in collaboration with faculty members
• Design, develop, and conduct moderately complex research experiments
• Formulate research methods, identify potential problems, and implement technical solutions
• Train laboratory users on equipment operation, technology capabilities, and safety limitations
• Coordinate, screen, and verify data collection processes
• Conduct data analysis and interpret results to implement research methodologies
• Co-author scientific publications and present findings at professional meetings or conferences
• Act as a liaison between the laboratory and other university departments

Requirements

• Master's degree in a related field
• 5 to 6 years of related research or laboratory experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in supervisory roles
• Experience in financial management within a research setting
