Research Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist the Principal Investigator and Study Team with coordinating research activities
• Recruit research participants and manage administrative logistics, including consenting and scheduling
• Execute and maintain research studies, including data collection and management
• Prepare research subjects for studies and manage accurate, timely documentation and filing
• Adhere to OSHA, Good Clinical Practices (GCP), and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
• Assist with initial coding and data entry of structured questionnaires and data collection tools
• Promote the safety and confidentiality of research participants at all times
• Schedule and attend regular team meetings

Requirements

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a professional, friendly, and diplomatic demeanor
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous clinical research experience
• Familiarity with medical terminology, medications, laboratory tests, and medical abbreviations
• Experience working in healthcare or non-profit environments
