About the role
About the Company
Odyssey is an AI lab pioneering general world models: causal, multimodal systems that learn to predict and interact with the world over long horizons. Our founders and research team come from world-class institutions including DeepMind, Tesla, Waymo, Meta, and Apple.
Responsibilities
- Define and pursue a 3-6 month research project towards publishable research in general-purpose world models
- Collaborate with machine learning research teams to push the boundaries of state-of-the-art visual AI
- Contribute to the development of foundational technology for robotics, science, healthcare, and more
Requirements
- Currently progressing towards a PhD or similar graduate degree
- Ability to share examples of previous research
- Ability to work from our offices in Palo Alto or London
- Submission of a short research proposal (maximum one page) as part of the application
