Research Fellow

Responsibilities

• Join a multidisciplinary research team using synthetic organic chemistry to accelerate the invention of medicine
• Advance the multistep synthesis of complex molecules, such as natural products or pharmaceuticals, using modern AI-guided strategies
• Support multistep synthesis campaigns accelerated by automation, including reaction modeling
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and pharmaceutical industry partners
• Utilize creativity in synthesis design and apply state-of-the-art automated synthesis techniques

Requirements

• PhD in organic synthesis
• Strong track record in organic synthesis evidenced through publication
• Ability to design and execute multistep synthesis campaigns of complex molecules
• Understanding of process chemistry objectives for optimization
• Strong communication skills for industry partnerships and multidisciplinary collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Programming skills in Python or R
