Research Fellow

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support new research projects focused on HIV prevention in Uganda
• Partner with peer scholars and Center leadership to improve methods for measuring the impact of global health projects
• Prepare and present study progress, outcomes, and results at team meetings and national conferences
• Write scholarly manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals
• Contribute to the research productivity and capacity of LMIC partner institutions and trainees
• Explore research dissemination activities to transform empirical findings into actionable, scalable solutions

Requirements

• PhD or other terminal degree
• Experience in protocol creation and program evaluation
• Demonstrated expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methods
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Experience with and willingness to work in low-resource settings
• Ability to work independently, collaborate across disciplines, and present to diverse audiences
