About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support new research projects focused on HIV prevention in Uganda
- Partner with peer scholars and Center leadership to improve methods for measuring the impact of global health projects
- Prepare and present study progress, outcomes, and results at team meetings and national conferences
- Write scholarly manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals
- Contribute to the research productivity and capacity of LMIC partner institutions and trainees
- Explore research dissemination activities to transform empirical findings into actionable, scalable solutions
Requirements
- PhD or other terminal degree
- Experience in protocol creation and program evaluation
- Demonstrated expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience with and willingness to work in low-resource settings
- Ability to work independently, collaborate across disciplines, and present to diverse audiences
