Research Engineer

About the Company

Liquid Labs is an internal research accelerator driving fundamental breakthroughs in the science of building intelligent, personalized, and adaptive machines. Originating from MIT CSAIL, the lab focuses on pushing the frontier of efficient, adaptive intelligence through both fundamental research and practical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement novel architectures, training methods, and inference strategies
• Translate scientific ideas into working systems
• Publish research findings in tier-1 venues to drive the field forward
• Deploy models to redefine efficient AI capabilities
• Work closely with core foundation model and systems teams

Requirements

• Fluency in Python
• Experience with PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow
• Experience in machine learning research or production-grade ML systems
• Track record of publication in tier-1 venues (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ACL, or equivalent)
• Ability to move quickly from research papers to functional prototypes
