Research Engineer

About the Company

Alpic is the all-in-one MCP hosting platform building the infrastructure for the agent-driven future. We aim to combine the ease of Vercel, the performance of CloudFlare, and the versatility of Kong’s API gateway for AI-native workflows.

Responsibilities

• Research different attack vectors of (LLM + MCP server) systems
• Work on a guardrail classifier model to scan MCP server inputs/outputs
• Identify potential attacks and train models on real production data from Alpic
• Collaborate with the MICS research lab from CentraleSupélec

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a tier 1 school
• At least one relevant experience in software development
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript, React, and Nest.js
• Experience in Research
• Curiosity about AI and MCP with personal projects in the space
