Research Engineer - 3D Vision and Generation, Self-Driving

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on 3D vision topics including 3D foundation models, multi-modal pretraining, Gaussian splatting, and world foundation models for autonomous driving
• Work closely with Research Scientists and interns to produce high-quality research publications for top-tier conferences
• Collaborate with engineering teams across ADAS, data, and simulation to deploy end-to-end algorithms for mass production vehicles
• Develop neural simulation and generation techniques to support autonomy development tools

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in 3D reconstruction with Gaussian splatting, 3D/multi-modal foundation models, or world foundation models and video generation
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch
• Strong background in computer vision and robotics systems
• Experience with distributed machine learning model training
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on complex research projects

Preferred Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in machine learning, computer vision, or a closely related field with applications in autonomy and robotics
• Industry experience in relevant fields, particularly self-driving applications
• Passion for building and shipping customer-focused software frameworks or tools
