Research Engineer - 3D Vision and Generation

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on 3D vision topics including 3D foundation models, multi-modal pretraining, Gaussian splatting, and world foundation models for autonomous driving
• Collaborate with Research Scientists and interns to produce high-quality publications for top-tier conferences
• Partner with engineering teams on ADAS, data, and simulation to deploy end-to-end algorithms for mass production vehicles and develop neural simulation/generation tools

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in one of: 3D reconstruction with Gaussian splatting, 3D/multi-modal foundation models and pretraining, world foundation models and video generation, or 3D/multi-view end-to-end models for autonomous driving/robotics
• Passion for scalable autonomy and robotics in real-world systems
• Strong engineering and research skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, computer vision, robotics systems, and distributed machine learning training

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry experience in relevant topics, preferably self-driving applications
• MSc or PhD in machine learning, computer vision, or related field with autonomy/robotics focus
• Passion for building and shipping customer-focused software frameworks or tools
