Research & Development Specialist

Responsibilities

• Identify and execute new revenue opportunities across livestream, ecommerce, retail, and emerging digital platforms
• Conduct market and competitive intelligence within the TCG and live commerce space
• Develop comprehensive business cases, including market sizing, financial modeling, and risk assessments
• Partner with cross-functional teams in fulfillment, marketing, and operations to ensure initiative feasibility
• Track performance and conduct post-mortems on launched initiatives to optimize future results

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in strategy, business development, consulting, or similar analytical roles
• Proven ability to transform vague ideas into structured business cases and leadership recommendations
• Proficiency with data/BI tools and AI tools for research and synthesis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting point-of-view-driven recommendations
• Ability to thrive in a fast-changing, high-growth environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in TCGs, collectibles, gaming, or adjacent digital communities
• Background in e-commerce, live commerce, or creator-driven businesses (Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Whatnot, etc.)
• Experience working within a high-growth startup or consumer brand environment
