Research Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Investigate and write about current business and IT trends to create data-driven research reports.
• Critically review and provide editorial feedback on reports written by team members.
• Interview IT professionals and technology providers regarding economic factors and industry trends.
• Maintain proprietary research data repositories and build statistical models using Excel or other sophisticated tools.
• Build relationships with subject matter experts to support the development of new research.
• Collaborate with a team of writers, editors, and SMEs to improve data management practices.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in editorial coaching and reviewing the work of others.
• Proven experience innovating editorial processes, specifically through the use of AI.
• Familiarity with business and IT topics such as cloud computing, security, data management, or enterprise software.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and a solid knowledge of statistics.
• Excellent editorial, writing, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to meet strict publication deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in survey design and best practices for ensuring quality response data.
• Knowledge of IT strategic planning, financial management, and performance metrics.
