About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit Research Ethics Board (REB) applications, amendments, and renewals
  • Recruit, screen, and consent study participants in accordance with approved protocols
  • Coordinate data collection, sample collection, processing, and study documentation
  • Maintain study databases and ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Provide administrative and financial support for clinical research activities for Principal Investigators
  • Assist with study logistics, scheduling, and research administrative tasks
  • Participate in data analysis and the preparation of abstracts and manuscripts for publication
  • Organize and participate in research review meetings

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant discipline or completion of a relevant technical program
  • Minimum of three years of related research experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience processing financial transactions with accuracy
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with professionals and students
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
