About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate trial conduct and administration to ensure all research activities follow established protocols
- Oversee participant recruitment and facilitate project completion through field work as needed
- Analyze study databases, interpret data, and generate progress and interim research reports
- Manage grant and ethics submissions and maintain various regulatory documentations
- Develop abstracts, manuscripts, and presentations for academic submission and meetings
- Ensure compliance with documentation requirements in accordance with Good Clinical Practice guidelines
- Act as a resource to the research team to identify and resolve potential project risks or issues
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of two years of related research experience
- Experience in quantitative data analysis
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline such as epidemiology, public health, or global health
- Previous experience coordinating large-scale public health projects
- Familiarity with HPV and cervical cancer research fields
- Experience with statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, or R, and NVivo
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple commitments and meet short deadlines
