Research Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Implement the Cities curriculum across designated partner schools
• Support the recruitment of university student mentors and middle school student mentees
• Serve as the primary liaison between partner schools, mentees, mentors, and community programs
• Facilitate community engagement and support activities across partner CPS schools
• Build and nurture connections between research and implementation teams
• Assist in the development of presentations and research papers
• Help supervise undergraduate student Fellows and interns on the project

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• At least two years of relevant experience (or a combination of advanced degree and experience)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with peers, school staff, and young adults
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a flexible schedule
• Ability to work independently and initiate tasks as needed
• Ability to commute to designated school locations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with children
• Experience in social work
