About the role
Responsibilities
- Implement the Cities curriculum across designated partner schools
- Support the recruitment of university student mentors and middle school student mentees
- Serve as the primary liaison between partner schools, mentees, mentors, and community programs
- Facilitate community engagement and support activities across partner CPS schools
- Build and nurture connections between research and implementation teams
- Assist in the development of presentations and research papers
- Help supervise undergraduate student Fellows and interns on the project
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- At least two years of relevant experience (or a combination of advanced degree and experience)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with peers, school staff, and young adults
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a flexible schedule
- Ability to work independently and initiate tasks as needed
- Ability to commute to designated school locations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with children
- Experience in social work
