Research Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Advocate for patient safety and protocol integrity while adhering to clinical research regulations and SOPs
• Manage the informed consent process, ensuring patients understand study procedures and addressing any barriers to decision-making
• Collaborate with Principal Investigators and interdisciplinary teams to ensure protocol compliance and timely procedure execution
• Coordinate and schedule protocol-required events, including study visits, scans, and pharmacokinetics
• Oversee patient eligibility screening and provide necessary education regarding clinical conditions and study requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation in legal medical records and manage study-specific files
• Perform data management tasks, including abstracting data into CRFs and ensuring data integrity for sponsor queries
• Report serious adverse events, deviations, and noncompliance to the IRB and sponsors in a timely manner

Requirements

• Knowledge of standard research and oncology care practices
• Typically 5 or more years of relevant experience
• Current Texas or Virginia Registered Nursing License (for RN applicants)
• Bachelor's degree (for non-RN applicants)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in oncology clinical trials
• Previous experience in Research Coordination
