Responsibilities

• Carry out cell biology tasks including mammalian cell culture, virus harvesting, and transfections/transduction
• Isolate and engineer primary T cells using various techniques
• Perform functional assays to evaluate T cell responses
• Assist with molecular cloning tasks including design, PCR, gel extraction, transformation, plasmid preparation, and sequence analysis
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on various experiments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
• 2+ years of industry experience
• Proficiency in molecular cloning, flow cytometry, ELISA, cell line and primary T cell culture, and lentiviral transduction
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of T cell immunology
• Experience with TCE development
• Experience with NGS sequencing and analysis
