About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and conduct independent research in population pharmacokinetics using animal and human sample sets
  • Contribute to experimental design, execution, interpretation, and technical write-ups
  • Liaise with collaborators to compile, analyze, and report research findings
  • Prepare manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals and present findings at conferences
  • Assist in preparing research proposals for granting agencies and report on progress
  • Supervise students and postdoctoral fellows
  • Provide general laboratory maintenance, including biosafety, inventory, equipment repair, and reagent ordering
  • Train other laboratory members

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in a relevant field
  • At least 4 years of research expertise in population and individual pharmacokinetics
  • Proficiency in Quantitative System Pharmacology and Bayesian statistics
  • General programming and software skills, including PopPK, PBPK, Phoenix, SimCYP, and R
  • A strong, long-standing track record of scientific publication
  • Experience in designing, planning, and executing experiments, including data analysis and figure preparation
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a large, multi-collaborative laboratory environment
