About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and conduct independent research in population pharmacokinetics using animal and human sample sets
- Contribute to experimental design, execution, interpretation, and technical write-ups
- Liaise with collaborators to compile, analyze, and report research findings
- Prepare manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals and present findings at conferences
- Assist in preparing research proposals for granting agencies and report on progress
- Supervise students and postdoctoral fellows
- Provide general laboratory maintenance, including biosafety, inventory, equipment repair, and reagent ordering
- Train other laboratory members
Requirements
- Ph.D. in a relevant field
- At least 4 years of research expertise in population and individual pharmacokinetics
- Proficiency in Quantitative System Pharmacology and Bayesian statistics
- General programming and software skills, including PopPK, PBPK, Phoenix, SimCYP, and R
- A strong, long-standing track record of scientific publication
- Experience in designing, planning, and executing experiments, including data analysis and figure preparation
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a large, multi-collaborative laboratory environment
