About the role
Responsibilities
- Design logic models, research protocols, and research ethics applications
- Lead a comprehensive evaluation of primary care practices
- Design surveys and interview questionnaires, manage data collection, and conduct analysis
- Conduct literature reviews, scoping/systematic reviews, and knowledge synthesis
- Supervise and delegate tasks to research staff and provide necessary training
- Manage project activities, timelines, and progress monitoring
- Prepare and submit grant applications and manage reporting requirements
- Oversee knowledge translation, communications, and co-author scientific manuscripts
Requirements
- PhD in health services research, public health, health policy, epidemiology, or a related discipline
- 2-4 years of post-PhD experience in health services and policy research
- Experience conducting mixed-methods health services research (qualitative and quantitative)
- Proficiency with software such as NVivo, R, SPSS, Stata, REDcap, Qualtrics, or Covidence
- Experience preparing research ethics board applications and managing multi-site data collection
- Strong communication skills and a solid publication record in primary care or health systems
- Knowledge of the Canadian primary care policy landscape
