Research Associate Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform plant pathology research with agronomic crops at the Macon Ridge Research Station
• Supervise student employees and manage research projects
• Conduct basic science laboratory techniques
• Collect and computerize research data
• Cooperate with various personnel and related units on joint tasks as necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Plant Pathology, Plant Science, General Agriculture, or a related agricultural field
• Experience in plant science or significant work experience in an agricultural/basic science field
• Ability to work onsite at the Macon Ridge Research Station in Winnsboro, LA

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant scientific field
