Research Associate

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of research projects, including the development of online digital platforms
• Coordinate workflows and provide guidance to undergraduate research assistants
• Provide organizational, writing, and project management support for digital humanities initiatives
• Assist with grant development and the preparation of academic manuscripts
• Facilitate collaboration between administrative staff, faculty, and community partners
• Organize project documentation and maintain research processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
• Demonstrated experience working in the digital humanities
• Experience with digital scholarship projects
• Strong written and oral presentation skills
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical capacities
• Willingness to learn new technologies, including software applications or programming languages

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field
• Experience with data visualization, databases, or digital humanities tools
• Experience leading or mentoring undergraduate research projects
• Previous experience with grant writing
• A record of academic publications
• Project management experience
