About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and troubleshoot molecular cloning of inserts with varying lengths and compositions to ensure accurate plasmid sequences
- Optimize and troubleshoot enzymatic reactions to enhance nucleic acid production and purity
- Follow and refine protocols to produce high-quality DNA and RNA with diverse expression cassettes
- Maintain organized storage of produced materials and keep detailed electronic records of material characteristics and storage locations
Requirements
- 2+ years of industry experience in immunology or biochemistry, OR a Master's degree with 1+ years of industry experience
- Hands-on experience in molecular cloning using methods such as Gibson or Golden Gate
- Experience in nucleic acid and protein production, purification, and assay development
- Solid understanding of enzymatic reactions involved in nucleic acid synthesis and subsequent modifications
- Strong ability to independently design and perform experiments, interpret data, and communicate results
