Responsibilities

  • Create editorial content covering media, technology, and digital economy sectors
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly TMT thematic reports for top clients
  • Assist in creating monthly and quarterly thematic content
  • Monitor key industry and sector trends
  • Plan, support, and execute company and sector discussions and bus tours for institutional investors
  • Maintain internal processes, systems, and databases
  • Support IPO advisory efforts
  • Interact with clients, internal constituents, and senior management teams
  • Participate in cross-product collaboration with banking advisory and merchant banking teams

Requirements

  • Strong, clear, and concise written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to distill large amounts of information succinctly
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with a strong work ethic
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and public markets
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of Sell-Side/Buy-Side Equity Research, financial journalism, or TMT corporate experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including modeling proficiency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Buyside relationships with TMT investors
  • Experience with investing
  • Experience using FactSet and Bloomberg
