Research Associate

Responsibilities

• Coordinate community and clinician advisory board recruitment and meeting scheduling
• Record meeting discussions and share findings with the research team
• Provide support for data entry and cleaning
• Assist with literature searches and the preparation of manuscripts
• Perform regulatory functions, including IRB submissions
• Schedule meetings and take detailed meeting minutes
• Perform other related research and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior research experience (including coursework or school thesis)
• Knowledge of maternal health disparities and inequities in US settings
• Two years of related experience or a Master’s degree in public health, nursing, or a related field
• Interest in or knowledge of maternal health and health equity using an antiracist approach
