About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate community and clinician advisory board recruitment and meeting scheduling
- Record meeting discussions and share findings with the research team
- Provide support for data entry and cleaning
- Assist with literature searches and the preparation of manuscripts
- Perform regulatory functions, including IRB submissions
- Schedule meetings and take detailed meeting minutes
- Perform other related research and administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior research experience (including coursework or school thesis)
- Knowledge of maternal health disparities and inequities in US settings
- Two years of related experience or a Master’s degree in public health, nursing, or a related field
- Interest in or knowledge of maternal health and health equity using an antiracist approach
