About the role
About the Company
Cloverleaf Bio is an early-stage therapeutics company that is developing a new class of engineered tRNA therapeutics. Our tRNAs target an underappreciated vulnerability of cancer: addiction to high levels of tRNA modifying enzymes.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute experiments independently and in collaboration with team members
- Prepare and handle RNAs and cell cultures
- Perform advanced laboratory techniques and methodologies
- Analyze data and maintain excellent written documentation in electronic lab notebooks
Requirements
- BS/BA in biology or related field
- Experience with standard molecular biology techniques (RNA/DNA extraction, PCR, RT-PCR, qPCR, western blotting)
- Proficiency in mammalian cell culture and passaging/seeding cells
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of post-degree wet lab experience
- Research experience in tRNA, RNA biology, or RNA modifications
- Experience with data analysis software such as Prism and statistics
- Experience with mammalian cell line engineering (e.g., lentivirus, CRISPR-CAS)
