Research Associate, Cell Biology

Responsibilities

• Execute daily experiments independently and in coordination with scientists to support key hypotheses
• Assist in the development of laboratory protocols and optimize workflows to build the platform foundation
• Support lab operations including organization, logistics, equipment maintenance, and EH&S compliance
• Communicate experimental plans and results effectively through oral presentations and written reports/electronic lab notebooks
• Deliver timely results to key stakeholders and business partners

Requirements

• BA/BS or MS in Biology, Cellular Biology, or a related discipline
• Minimum of two years of industry experience
• Experience establishing and maintaining mammalian cell lines
• Significant experience with immuno- and molecular assays (e.g., western blot, ELISA, qPCR, flow cytometry, cellular imaging)
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to experimental design and data analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with isolation and characterization of extracellular vesicles from human cell lines, tissues, or biofluids
• Experience handling and processing human biomaterials (tissues, blood, organoids, etc.)
• Experience with antibody conjugation including fluorescent dyes or oligonucleotides
• Practical experience using liquid chromatography to purify and characterize antibodies and conjugates
