Research Associate, Analytical Chemistry

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct laboratory scale experiments using analytical instrument platforms such as HPLC/UPLC, HPLC-MS, ICP-MS, IC, GC, GC-MS, UV, and Karl Fischer
• Author method validation protocols and reports in adherence to ICH guidelines and internal standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Properly record and summarize experiments in notebooks and reports, constructing research summaries for internal teams
• Maintain process compliance integrity by adhering to SOPs and current good manufacturing practices (cGMP)
• Operate laboratory equipment, troubleshoot instrumentation and method issues, and perform routine preventative maintenance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B. S.) or equivalent in chemistry or a related applied science field
• 1 year of relevant experience
• Experience following SOPs for analytical method execution, specifically with HPLC/UPLC or HPLC-MS

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with IC, GC, GC-MS, UV, or Karl Fischer
• Experience working in a cGMP regulated environment
• Knowledge of analytical test methods used in the testing of oligonucleotide API or related molecules
• Experience with method validation
• Ability to work with interdisciplinary project teams and follow project timelines
