About the Company

Adaptyv is building an automated lab that lets AI agents run biology experiments. We are building the infrastructure that gives AI agents access to the physical world, powering a deep software and hardware stack to accelerate assay development and AI-driven wet lab experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Run protein expression workflows including cell-free, E. coli, and potentially mammalian systems
• Execute high-throughput DNA synthesis and assembly protocols such as PCR, Golden Gate, and Gibson
• Run binding and characterization assays including BLI, SPR, thermostability, and enzyme activity
• Troubleshoot protein expression, misfolding, or aggregation issues
• Prepare reagents, manage samples, and track experiments in LabOS
• Analyze experimental data including expression gels, chromatograms, and binding curves
• Collaborate with the automation team to adapt bench protocols for robotic workflows

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in molecular biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, or a related field
• Practical molecular biology skills in PCR, cloning, gel electrophoresis, and DNA purification
• Experience with recombinant protein expression
• Experience with DNA assembly methods like Golden Gate, Gibson, or restriction cloning
• Hands-on experience with biophysical or analytical characterization techniques (e.g., BLI, SPR, plate reader assays)
• Ability to script in Python or similar for data parsing or task automation
• Highly organized and precise with a strong work ethic
